The Creators Words

Ron works with a lot of whites merging in brown, blue and yellow variants glazed in transparant layers of ochre, sienna ,and many different earth tones.

His paintings are clearly the result of long studies and a lot of thinking. It is during this process that he mixes the different layers of paint with a diversity of materials, showing the different phases of creation.
The paintings don't have titles because the artist leaves the interpretation to the imagination of the beholder. This gives the viewer the possibility af experiencing the essence and timelessness of his work, which goes beyand the questions of everyday's insanity.
His work comes close to music,the most abstract form of art. Material,colour and composition are all radiating a very serene and calm tranquillity which feels very powerful and makes you feel good.
This is the result of the concentratian and the passion which led to different expositions at home and abroad.

Through his paintings, he is telling stories about the balance and imbalance in the world; his world. In his paintings Lies,Sanne and Linu are the points of departure for his strolls through nature, reality and thoughts; his world.
Nothing is more beautiful than experiencing, challenging and recording this world.

In his studio where he brings his world together, he is often working on different paintings at the same time. Some internal images are not easily translated into a painting....
Parts of the paintings are removed and other new parts are layered over remains of older parts of the work. That’s in the end the way how many different associations show themselves as his world, his painting.
